Asthma overview

Asthma makes breathing difficult for more than 5.4 million people in the UK. Asthma symptoms, which include coughing, wheezing and chest tightness, are common in an asthma attack. There is a person with asthma in one in every five households in the UK, but with proper treatment for symptoms of asthma both children and adults can live well.
