Coeliac disease – finding help

Getting a diagnosis of coeliac disease will help explain your symptoms, but can be overwhelming in terms of the information you need to take in about diet and lifestyle. These organisations can help:

Coeliac UK

Coeliac UK is a charity working for people with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis (DH). Its mission is to improve the lives of people with coeliac disease through support, campaigning and research.

Diabetes UK

Diabetes UK says people with type 1 diabetes are more likely to have coeliac disease than the general population. It says both conditions are autoimmune diseases that are genetically linked.
