Norovirus directory

Norovirus is a highly contagious stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea. It is also known as the winter vomiting bug and is the most common bug in the UK. There is no known cure for norovirus and the illness just has to run its course, which usually takes about 12 to 48 hours. During this time you may be infectious to other people. The illness is usually not dangerous and most people make a full recovery without seeing a GP. Follow the links below to find BootsWebMD's comprehensive coverage about how norovirus is contracted, how to treat it, and much more.
