How to overcome procrastination continued...

Break it down: Break down your task into more manageable chunks so it doesn't seem so daunting. Make a quick list or a timetable but don't spend hours colour-coding and laminating it, this is tantamount to procrastination in itself.

Act now: Just do it, don't be sapped by procrastination, it can become a habit that's hard to break. Do something, do anything, but don't be debilitated by it.

"It's about living life to the full, letting go of fears, and facing up to what's important," says Dr Sinclair.
